certified ISO 9001 quality management system
Since the 2008 performance benchmark was set,
the sector has continued to make strong progress towards its 2012
target. The percentage of certified sites has increased from 84 per
cent to 89 per cent. This is against a background of a reduced
number of sites operating in the period. The target is to increase
the number of sites certified to 90 per cent which, based on the
current number of sites, equates to 20 additional sites.
