Construction Industry
Throughout the construction industry sustainability is measured
in many ways. it is measured upstream during the manufacturing
process and downstream in how construction projects are built and
operated.
Compared to many parts of the world, the UK is extremely lucky
that the environment and population are well protected by
legislation and specification. The industries that provide the raw
materials required for the production of concrete are covered by a
vast range of legislation and specification to give the end user,
specifier and other stakeholders the peace of mind that concrete
products have been responsibly resourced and produced.
